Baboo Ram Singh Mahavidyalaya, Khadpather, Murdhawa, Renukoot is governed by Vansthali Society. Vansthali Society was established in the year 2003 by an eminent
educationalist and engineer late Shri Ram Awadh Singh. He is the one of the few persons those are highly educated and eager to devote most of the time in the field of education and social work.
Shri Ram Awadh Singh was born on 1 March 1943 in village Kotha, Azamgarh to father Babooram Singh and mother Sonvarsa Devi. After completing his schooling and engineering education, he joined the Department of Telecommunications in 1962.
And while serving continuously, he retired from the post of Divisional Engineer in 2003, but in his last years of government service, he started preparing the outline of Vanasthali Society and Babooram Singh Mahavidyalaya and as soon as he retired, in 2003, with the help of many late members of the society, he established this college in the memory of his father Babooram
Singh and in the memory of his mother Sonvarsa Devi the name of Maa Sonvarsa Devi Intermediate College.
When Babooram Singh Mahavidyalaya was established in 2003, there was no other college providing higher education in the area within a diameter of 35 kilometres. Desire for
development and future vision Ram Awadh Singh ji started B.Ed. and B.P. Ed. courses in this college in 2005 and even today Babooram Singh Mahavidyalaya is the only college where
Bachelor of Physical Education is taught and which is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth but located outside Banaras. The Foundation of Babooram Singh Mahavidyalaya
in 2004 was nothing but a zealous attempt to provide knowledge of light to those who had been suffering in the darkness of ignorance and backwardness.
The unfortunate incident took place that was the sad demise of Awadh Singh on October 09 2022, when the college was at the crucial stage. The task was uncompleted and the society desperately needed at torch bearer to complete it. Everybody desired engineer Balwant Singhto take responsibility.
At the age of 45 years Hon'ble engineer Balwant Singh was unanimously elected as the manager of Vansthali Society and Babooram Singh Mahavidyalay in 2023. With a vision of expansion and provide quality education Hon'ble Er. Balwant Singh focused on infrastructure facilities and the potential of further growth. The stand-alone building for B.Ed. ITEP and B.P.Ed. was constructed in 2023. Which is well equipped and well furnished.
Due to sincere and hard work of Shri Balwant Singh Babooram Singh Mahavidyalay are proud to introduce some more post-graduation courses in various stream from upcoming academic year. Babooram Singh Mahavidyalay marching towards excellence under the direction of Sri Balwant Singh the manager of college especially during the last few years the college has swiftly move is striving hard to achieve excellence.

The Babooram Singh Mahavidyalay aims to create and disseminate an atmosphere of learning and research of a high academic, professional standard in which learners can gain knowledge and skills, encompassing a wide range of disciplines - arts, commerce, science, education and physical education which will result in multidimensional personality developments of the learners and will enable them to fulfil the needs of society at large.
